Lifestyle | Free Font Bundles

AD - I've recently started up my own business selling FM - more to come on that in another post but when starting up your own business with limited funds it can be difficult to get started up. With a brand like FM you have the ability to create your own 'look' your own brand and can personalise in anyway possible to create a business for yourself. However, you want to set up a brand but without spending too much money. I wanted to create business cards to compliment my brand but again didn't want to spend too much. After a quick search on Google I looked into various websites that I could create professional looking business cards. Google was my best friend as I couldn't believe all of the resources that literally just started popping up. It's so important to do your research before putting your brand out there as you want to ensure your branding and marketing will stand out - after all you want to sell your product ahead of the competitors!

I had a clear idea that I wanted something that stood out, the colour scheme of black, white and blush and the dalmatian logo I had already created, again using a free website Canva. This is a great website for creating marketing material and found their website so easy to use! If you want to try out Canva and see what you can create you can click here the possibilities really are endless! It's definitely my go to for all of my branding going forward. It's so easy to use and easy to download your creations once you've finished. It gives you full control over your design from start to finish.

I wanted my branding to stand out but be timeless and still look classy, to match with the brand. I wanted to go a little out of my comfort zone with my branding so I wanted to ensure it was right before printing everything. I had to be 100%

With that being said you also want to create cards that are unique to you and your brand. I then wanted to look through and customise my cards, leaflets and any flyers to ensure they all match. The easiest way to do this is with a font bundle. Again, I wanted to ensure that this didn't cost too much so I was surprised when I come across a free fonts site which allows you to use their font bundles free of charge. After finding the free fonts I can't wait to start using them across all of my marketing as there is so many you can choose from. Something so small like a new font can make all of the difference when it comes to the messages you want to put across. A clear text ensures that your material is easy to read and unique enough to get you noticed.

After creating business cards I then went ahead and created a leaflet with all the scents lists to include in orders, thank you cards and have recently looked into created my own packaging. Since creating all of the branding my other half wants me to create his branding for his brand so it goes to show simple things can really make the impact!

It's so important when creating branding that it is all consistent and creates a clear brand, the easiest way I have found to do this is to have a clear font and using the same logos and colour schemes across every piece of material I have created.

It's amazing to find how many free tools and resources there is on the internet to help create your business without spending hundreds! After all that first year in business is one of the most difficult so it's important to keep costs at a minimum.

Now I have all of my marketing it's really got me excited to start putting my business out there and I can't wait to see what else I can create with the free resources I have come across. Who knew you could get excited over free fonts and business cards!

Make sure you comment with any branding ideas you've had or great websites that you've come across that have helped your business. Don't forget to keep checking back for more updates. I'm back to posting a little more regularly and I do have a bit of a surprise post planned for very soon, of which may explain why I've been a little bit quiet recently!
