I'm always on the lookout for bargain beauty steals that we all need in our lives and who doesn't love a bargain? We are all on the hunt to save those extra pennies.
I'm going to try and do more comparison and dupe style posts and Aldi is definitely bringing out all the dupes at the moment so seems like the perfect starting point. They are killing it with all the dupe options from Jo Malone to Glam glow, expect to see lots more on this series of dupes!
I've talked time and time again about my hair and how much of a nightmare it can be. Following on from my trip to see the lovely Martyna (Read Here) I wanted to step up my hair care game. I'd always used Tresemme hair products, they have the salon quality stamp of approval and always thought this was the best for my hair.
I am using the deep cleansing shampoo and conditioner which both contain pro-vitamin B5 and Vitamin E - both of which are added vitamins we find in the high end hair care products. This is an important one for me as I like to check the ingredients in my hair care and do actively pick out the ones with added vitamins, I always like to make sure there is as much natural ingredients in there as possible and vitamins are so important for your skin, hair and nails so any products with these added in is always a bonus for me.
Lacura shampoo and conditioner are both bottled exactly the same as the Tresemme options. The shampoo comes in the grey bottle and the conditioner in a white bottle. The bottle sizes are exactly the same and so amazing value for money at 1 litre for £1.99 compared to the Tresemme at £3.00 for a litre when buying both that's a pretty big saving when you think about the amount of shampoo and conditioner you go through over a year!
Texture wise the Lacura shampoo is a little runnier than the Tresemme but the conditioner texture is exactly the same. The shampoo is a little more like a soap feeling than a shampoo but once lathered up feels exactly the same on the hair.
Smell wise they smell very similar, over all I feel like my hair has both smelt, felt and reacted the same way. I do have to say I use a little more of the Lacura conditioner than Tresemme as it doesn't quite coat the hair the same but over all there is very little difference.
Would I buy again? This is the real test of if a dupe is worth it but would I? Absolutely! The only differences I noticed were those I was looking out for. If I wasn't nit picking at the products I wouldn't have noticed massive differences. Value for money is second to none and for the money I absolutely can't complain.
Remarkable post. I simply came across your blog and desired to say that I have really enjoyed searching your blog posts. Thank you for sharing such blogs. ways to stop biting nails
