Travel | 5 Great Places For a Night Out in London

London is a huge city with so much to offer. There are great tourist attractions and lots of amazing restaurants to eat at. On top of that, London has some of the best nightlife in the country so it’s worth taking a trip down there for a big night out. The problem is, it’s such a massive city that it’s hard to know where to go. If you don’t plan your night out properly, you’ll end up spending half the night on the tube and you won’t get the most out of your trip, with that in mind these are some of the best London districts for a night out.

A lot of people are put off going to London because it’s expensive but if you’re worried about that, you should head to Brixton. There’s a bit of something for everybody and the prices are way lower than other areas of London. There are plenty of traditional pubs for a quiet drink as well as some great bars that are open late. It’s also got a good live music scene if that’s what you’re into. Visit vlondoncity for a list of some of the best nightclubs in London in Brixton and beyond. Brixton does have a bit of a bad reputation because it was a bit of a hotspot for crime but you don’t need to worry about that. In the last decade or so, the whole area has been rejuvenated.

If you’re looking for something a little more upmarket, why not head to Chelsea, the location of the famous reality show, where all of the rich kids hang out. You’re going to spend a lot of money but if that’s not a problem for you, Chelsea is great. There are so many sophisticated bars and restaurants if you enjoy fine dining and fancy cocktails.

Shoreditch is another area of London that has seen a lot of development in the last couple of years. It’s full of hipster bars with great craft beer, amazing food and live music. If you’re after a glamorous night out then this isn’t the place for you but if you want a friendly atmosphere and some great quirky bars then Shoreditch is perfect.

Soho has long been known as the best place in London for nightlife. If it’s great clubs that you’re after then look no further. There’s a wide variety of clubs including karaoke bars, sophisticated bars and great live music venues. Whoever you are, you’ll be able to find something for you in Soho. The whole area is a melting pot of tourists, students and locals and the atmosphere is always friendly.

Covent Garden

If you want something a bit more low key and cultural than a Soho nightclub, Covent Garden might be a better fit for you. There are some great theatres and amazing street performers to see while you enjoy a drink in one of the many great beers.

These are all great districts for a great night out in London.
