So as I'm sure many of you will have already seen Zoella has brought out a new beauty range and bloggers have gone crazy for it. It's the most instagrammable beauty range I have ever seen! The packaging is to die for and honestly is a bloggers dream to photograph.
The range is girly and sweet scented which is my absolute favourite the sweeter the better for me! Everything in the range is elderflower and pomegranate infused which I like that the whole range has the same distinctive smell and all offer the amazing benefits of these ingredients.
I picked mine up from Superdrug as they had a 3 for 2 on and thought this was the perfect opportunity to try out more of the range. I picked up size of the collection and tried to focus on the bath and shower range the most.
Up first is my absolute favourite. It's the Bath Frosting. In the little tin you get 4 little sachets of bath powder which you sprinkle under the running water and it creates a bubbly bath full of moisturising ingredients. This frosting contains extracts of elderflower and pomegranate which help soften, brighten and tone your skin and I can't disagree this frosting leaves my skin so soft and smooth every time I use one. I'll definitely be re-purching these again. It's £7 a tin but with one sachet it does create a very bubbly bath so you don't have to worry about adding else in there.
Next up is the bath wafers. These smell absolutely divine and you can really smell the pomegranate in these wafers. This is like a sold bath bomb which I broke in half so I could use it in two separate baths. This is super sweet smelling and again with the pomegranate and elderflower extracts left my skin feeling super hydrated and so soft. These wafers are £5 so for two bath bombs I think that's a bargain!
I picked up two of her shower gels, one daily just for fun factor as the bottle is just adorable. The shower shake is in the cutest bottle and I couldn't resist after seeing this all over instagram! This shake cleanses and moisturised your skin so after using this I got out of the shower and my skin didn't feel tight or dry it felt smooth and bright. This shower shake starts out as a cream and with a little water then lathers up into a foam. This was £6 so is quite expensive for shower gel but I love it all the same.
The shower sauce is delicious and foams up a dream. This is a body wash and leaves the skin feeling super clean. This one doesn't leave my skin feeling as hydrated as the shower shake but all the same doesn't dry the skin out either. This was £5 but you don't need to use as much of this one as a little goes a long way.
Next up I picked up two of her body products. The first is the cream scrub. Being an avid fake tan wearer I constantly need to keep on top of scrubbing my skin to ensure I always have the best base to apply my tan. Some scrubs can be very harsh on my sensitive skin but I found this one didn't aggravate my skin. The polishing sprinkles in the scrub didn't feel like sand and didn't feel like it was pulling my skin whilst the rich cream made sure my skin still felt plump and hydrated afterwards. It left my skin feeling so smooth and I'll definitely be repurchasing this one. The scrub is £8.
And what do you need after a good scrub? A good body pudding. Now I have to admit I am pretty lazy with moisturisers so I am trying to get in the habit of using them more as with all that fake tan it does dry out your skin a lot. I was a little worried when I first opened the pot as it's a thick cream like texture but with lots of pink beads and I was worried this may be harsh on your skin (plus I'd never seen a moisturiser with added beads!) But I needn't worried as the pink beads explode onto your skin as soon as you start rubbing the cream in and leave your skin feeling silky smooth and smelling delicious. The body pudding is £8.
I've heard a lot of negatives about the smell of the range but for me I love the smell of elderflower and pomegranate especially. It's nice to have a range that doesn't smell like usual vanilla scents and this one smells fresh and much more mature. For me I'm a massive fan and I'll definitely be stocking up on this range again!
