So I recently went into Boots and Superdrug and caused some serious damage updating my beauty drawers with new skincare, tan products and make up so I thought why not put together a little haul post.
This post will be my first impressions and why I picked it up etc. After I've used the products and seen results I'll post individual posts on each product so make sure you keep an eye out over the next few weeks for more posts on my favourites!
Up first was Superdrug. I am loving Superdrug at the moment as I find I can get a lot more choice on the make up from. They offer a lot more brands that Boots don't including Make up Revolution.

I picked up two of their eye shadow palettes. I've always loved the Morphe palettes but I wanted to expand my collection and add colours that I don't already own. I always go for the same brown, nude and golden palettes and whilst I use these every day which is great I wanted to start creating looks that were a little bit different and thought these palettes would be a great addition to my Autumn/Winter colour schemes. The first palette is the inspiration palette. This has lots of browns but also a lot of red tones and warm oranges which I think will be perfect to create warmer looks and after seeing a lot of red around at the moment I thought this would be the best addition and know it's a palette I'm going to get a lot of use out of. The colours are all very warm toned with the odd ashy tone which is great as I find having really dark hair I prefer a warm toned brown to help warm up my face. The other palette I picked up was the dynamic palette. This palette has lots of purple toned shades and some very bright purple shades which will definitely push my creative side! There's a few shimmer shades which I know will look fab over the party season and already can't wait to get stuck in and create some exciting smokey eyes! Each palette has 35 shades and were £15 each so I think that's a lot of shadow for not a lot of money.
I can't go into Superdrug without picking up my favourite tan. The Cocoa Brown Dark shade tan is my fail safe. It develops in 1 hour and lasts for ages! It fades evenly on the skin and it's the tan I always go back to without fail. It's £7.99 and I honestly can't live without this tan!
With that being said I do always want to try new products and find other beauty finds that I love so I decided to pick up another tan to try (something I've not done for a very long but I wouldn't be a beauty blogger if I didn't try other things would I?) I have never tried anything from Bondi Sands but I've heard amazing things so decided to pick up their every day tanning milk. It's been a long time since I've used an every day tanner as I fell out of love with them but I'll keep you posted on my thoughts on this one. It was £11.99 but you do get a large bottle so I'm excited to see the results.

The next items I picked up were definitely a blogger must have - purely for the insta posts and the beautiful packaging. Every single beauty blogger has bought this range and I couldn't be left out of this one. The new Zoella Jelly and Gelato range is just beyond beautiful to look at. I picked up 6 items as it was 3 for 2 and I couldn't resist. I picked up the cream scrub (£8) , body pudding (£8), pink bath wafers (£5), shower shake (£6), shower sauce (£5) and bath frosting (£7) I will do a full post to talk about each product individually as I'm already in love with this range!
I then popped over to Boots (it's a nightmare having them both right over the road from each other!
I picked up an oldie but something I've never actually tried. The Vaseline spray moisturiser. It's always been something I wanted to try as what a genius idea but something I'd never got round to trying. It was on offer and was only £3.50 when normally this retails at £6.59 so a massive saving that I couldn't resist.
More skin care I added to my basket was the Loreal Pure Clay mask. I've been trialling out the other three masks but they recently brought out a further two. Their Bright mask and Blemish Rescue mask. I've been saving the post about the other masks until I had tried these two as well so trust me it's on it's way as I'm utterly obsessed! These masks are £7.99 each.

Last up was the make up counters. I went and picked up my trusty favourite foundation which I'm in love with at the moment which is the Loreal Infallible 24 hour foundation £10.99 and as a sucker for another 3 for 2 decided to pick up two more items to get the deal (why do Boots do this to us all the time?) I picked up another of my trusty favourites which is the Mega volume Miss Baby Roll mascara £7.99. I've never been really obsessed with a mascara until now I've never ever re-purchased the same one so for to do this it's definitely a massive thumbs up! Another thing I picked up was the Lip Paint Matte. I picked one of these up on my last hauls and I fell in love with the way it felt on my lips. It was matte without being drying so decided to add another to my collection but in more of a purple shade ready for the Autumn season. The shade I picked up was 212 and was £6.99

After I finished at the Loreal counter over I went to NYX. It would't be a beauty shop without adding more NYX lip products to my collection. This time I wanted a couple more of their butter glosses and picked up the shade Eclair which is a gorgeous pinky shade and Madeline which has fast become my favourite nude/brown shade. As I've never had any brown shades I decided to also pick up their retractable lip liner in shade Natural which is the perfect match for Madeline. Butter glosses were £5.50 each and the lip liner was £6.00. I had never tried any of the NYX face products so decided I would try out one of their foundations. I picked up the HD Studio Photogenic foundation as I like a full coverage and anything that's HD I'm sold. I picked up the shade sand beige and this was £14.00. I also picked up their Wonder Stick which is a highlight and contour stick as I'm still yet to find a cream contour that I'm in love with and thought this would be a great way to try one of the dual ended sticks that a lot of brands are creating at the moment. This was £10.50.

As I said each product will be featured individually on the blog with an in depth review to let you know how I got on :)
