Beauty | W7 Metallic Mattes

I'm a big lover of a matte lip colour but they can be seriously drying on your lips so I'm always looking out for new colours and styles that I can mix up my look with.

I'd heard of W7 but I have to admit I had never used any of their products to start with so I ordered just one colour to see how I got on.
I'm a massive fan of a nude lip but I thought I'd step out of my comfort zone and try out a bold colour. Now I've never really liked the look of metallic lips hey they suit some people but I've never really thought I could pull off a gold or silver lip whilst popping to the local shop so I was pleased to discover W7 had introduced those every day colours (or those I'm going to try something new that doesn't look like something from out of space). I decided I didn't have many pink colours in my collection and so I decided on Santorini.

I always like the look of a bold hot pink colour with a tan during summer so I decided now would be the perfect opportunity.

The great thing about these lipsticks is with them being in a lipstick form rather than a lipstain or gloss is that it's still hydrating on the skin. It doesn't dry the lips out leaving flaky skin or the need to scrub it off after an hour. The lipstick glides on and looks matte but feels amazingly silky on the lips.

The colour pay off is what really surprised me. The colour is so pigmented and rich it beats some of the really high end designer lipsticks I have. When it goes on it's not one of those lipsticks that ten minutes of putting it on it's all over your face and teeth (the one thing that has always put me off bold colours).

It has a slight metallic look sheen to the colour which adds an incredible depth and also means if you like that extra bit of shine to a lip colour there is no need to add a gloss with these.

The staying power is incredible and can't believe the quality for only £4.95. I'll definitely be adding more of these to my collection.
