Beauty | Beauty Advent Calendar | Day Eleven

Day Eleven

I love a good cleanser. I think it's super important to start with a good base and that only comes with a consistent skin care routine. Cleansing is a must have to me you should always have super clean skin.

Today I opened up a cleansing balm from Emma Hardie. I've heard amazing things about this so can't wait to try it!

I've only ever used liquid cleansers and never a cleansing balm so I was excited to try this. First of all when I opened the box I was a little disappointed as to the size of the product but that quickly changed when I realised it was a balm as you use far less product.

With a balm you warm it up on the skin so it melts and literally melts away the dirt on your face. Magic! It definitely feels nicer using a balm on the skin rather than a soap like cleanser and definitely doesn't feel like it was as harsh.

It smells very spa like and definitely luxurious and definitely left my skin feeling that way. My skin wasn't left feeling tight or red like after some cleansers so I'll definitely be re-purhasing this one.

It is priced at £38 for 100ml which is on the pricey side but for me why spend all that money on make up if you don't start with a good base?
