There's always a lot of buzz around the H&M collaborations. Which is completely understandable it's massive designers for fractions of the price.
I absolutely loved the Balmain collaboration last year and ended up buying 4 pieces. This year was Kenzo and again they didn't disappoint.
The collection was full of exotic prints and jungle themes with loads of colour and clashing prints. Now we all know I'm a very plain and simple girl so to me the prints were not something I was looking for (I definitely admire them but I couldn't pull them off)
I went onto the app about an hour after launch (there seemed to be a lot of issues with crashing which does seem to happen every year) In all honesty just to have a look at the collection. I had no intention of purchasing anything as I had seen sneak peaks and decided there was nothing I wanted to add to my wardrobe. As I've previously mentioned I'm trying to clear my wardrobe and I am now looking for key pieces to add.
That was until I stumbled across the frill collar sweatshirt. One thing I am short of in my wardrobe is good simple staples for the colder months. I have very little sweatshirts and jumpers so this is my main aim this year. The frill around the neck really drawn me. I picked the black option as I know I'll get loads of wear out of this with a pair of ripped skinny jeans or dressed up with a leather trouser and heeled boots.
I love the quality, the material is thick and so soft. Also the attention to detail. Along with the print of the tiger on the front there is also buttons hidden behind the frill to help you get it on and off. Even though these are hidden that doesn't mean quality has to be scrimped upon. They are tiny little tiger faces. To me these details really matter and show how much attention has gone into the designing.
