Beauty | Real Techniques Brushes

I went on the hunt for new brushes. To me it doesn't matter what make up you use if it's designer or high street you will never achieve the highest level of results without the best tools.

I try to constantly add to my brush collection as I think it's important to replace the older brushes and you can never have too many can you?

As with any other blogger the brushes I was on the look out for had to be just as aesthetically pleasing as well as the most amazing beauty tools.

Of course as soon as I stumbled upon the Real Techniques Bold Metals collection I knew I had to have them.

They look perfect on my dressing table and I can't lie to you it took me a while to actually start using them as I think they are just too beautiful.

As well as looking the part they are the highest quality brushes. I've never seen my make up go on with such ease. They brushes are so soft and don't fall apart all over your face.

For my face I got the 100 and the 101. The 100 is the arched powder brush which is a fluffy powder brush which is great for setting powder and blushes. The 101 is the triangle foundation brush which is the perfect size for all over foundation. I tend to use this to put on my foundation but then use a beauty blender to blend it all in. These two are in the gold metal.

Then for contour and highlight I got the 300 and 301. The 300 is the tapered brush which is a fluffy brush but with a smaller head so perfect for highlighting those cheekbones. The 301 is a flat contour brush which is flat and stubby so great for getting in the hollows of your cheeks. These are the two rose gold brushes.

Then last but not least it's the eye brushes. I got the 200,201 and 202. The 200 is the oval shadow which is a large blending style brush which I use for all over the lid and for priming my lids before I start. The 201 is the pointed crease which I use for shadowing my crease and for blending out a smokey eye. The 202 is the angled liner brush which is great for liquid liners or using with a darker shadow as a lower lash liner. I've been using this brush for my Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade.

These brushes are so dreamy and I've loved using them every morning!
