Day Fifteen
Okay I may have let out another little excitable dance. Today I got to open the Rosie for Autograph Lip Glossy.
I absolutely love the Rosie for Autograph range. The packaging alone has me swooning. We all know how much a lover of rose gold I am so I'm sold just on the packaging but the products themselves are equally as divine.

Day Thirteen
I was a little surprised in todays box as it was a very small pot of Skyn Iceland eye cream. I know eye cream you only use a small amount but this is a very tiny little pot.
Admittedly I don't use a separate eye cream and I do need to start so this is my perfect excuse to get into the routine.
,
Day Twelve
Well I was pleasantly surprised opening todays box. It's a make up tool. A make up brush to be precise. In my opinion you can never have too many brushes in your collection and I must buy at least one a month.
The brush in todays box doesn't let the side down either. It's a mini powder brush. Just because it's mini it doesn't mean it's any less quality. The bristles are very dense so you know that always means a higher end result. They are super soft but with the density the brush is stiff enough to be able to build up product without difficulty.

Day Eleven
I love a good cleanser. I think it's super important to start with a good base and that only comes with a consistent skin care routine. Cleansing is a must have to me you should always have super clean skin.
Today I opened up a cleansing balm from Emma Hardie. I've heard amazing things about this so can't wait to try it!
,
Day Ten
Very mixed feelings about today. Super happy to see it's Nails Inc inside but a little bit gutted it's two nail colours next to each other as I've had to remove the other one to try this one out. I'm also a little disappointed they are both very similar colours.
With that being said I'm a massive fan of Nails Inc they are by far my favourite nail brand so I'm so excited to open one of the boxes to find them inside.

I am so sorry this issue late and trust me I'll be playing catch up over this weekend which will mean extra posts for you to read. Unfortunately I've had a loss in our family which at any time is difficult but even more so at this time of year so that's why I've been missing in action but I'm back and ready to rip apart some more boxes to reveal some exciting goodies.
Day Eight
Well what a day to come back to... Liquid Gold. Well the title really says it all doesn't it?

Yeah Day Seven
I'm not going to lie I was a little bit shocked when I first opened the box to find sun protection but when the initial shock had disappeared I started to think actually I'm sure we're all pretty guilty of only using sun cream when we believe it's sunny yet actually the sun can still damage our sun throughout the winter months too.

Day Six
Super excited it's another make up item and perfect for this party season! It's the eyeko skinny liquid eyeliner in black.
Perfect for those cat eyes and party flicks as the tip is like a felt tip meaning you can create many different strokes from fine lines to thick lines perfect for those smokey looks.

Christmas is fast approaching and so that means advent calendars. Every year I've talked myself out of a beauty calendar just because of the sheer price of them but this year Marks and Spencer's had a fabulous offer I couldn't resist. If you spend £35 on clothing, home or beauty you could get one for only £35. Much cheaper than most of the high street. I thought this was also a good way to start Christmas shopping so put the £35 spend towards that, two birds with one stone hey?

I'm a massive fake tan fanatic. I'm all about a healthy glow without the dangers of the sun. Now I enjoy the sun as much as the next person but over the last few years I've learnt of the damage the sun can do to our skins (plus who wants to age earlier than they have to anyway?) So now I'm all about that healthy glow!

Primark hauls have definitely become an addiction. I'm not complaining though as they are definitely my favourite posts to read and also to write. I know you're all probably thinking where was July's haul, in fact I did pop in but didn't find anything that screamed at me so waited until August to pick up some extra bits!
This haul is mainly accessory based so if you love your added extras this is what this post is all about.
,
Hello!
Just a quick little post today as I couldn't wait to do a haul so thought I'd just bring you a mini post on a beauty tool you'll all definitely need in your life immediately!
The Ps Pro range is slightly more expensive than the normal Primark beauty range but I must say the quality of this range is on par with some of the hughstreet giants (but with a much smaller price tag!) I seen these blenders as I was looking at their tools and thought this would be a good way to try this new range.

One thing I always find is missing in my make up collection is a good nude eyeshadow palette. I always find it difficult finding day to day colours that work with every outfit. I was on the look out for a palette which could offer me neutral bases and strong pigmented colours so sharpen up my crease.
I wanted a mix of golden tones, warm chocolate browns and muted pinks and purples. I wasn't asking for much hey?
I've seen so many around but when I swatch them the colour doesn't look as pigmented or they crease and so I fall out of love with them as quickly as I fell in love.
That was until I found two new palettes on my latest trip to Boots. These two are compact palettes so ideal to throw in your make up bag and can be used on the go. Perfect for holidays!
Th first one is by Collection. A brand I've been absolutely loving recently. Their products are all amazing quality and the price is absolutely unbeatable. Their eyes uncovered palette comes in 3 differ colour options. Nude bronze, nude grey and a nude palette. I picked the nude bronze palette as I felt this had all of the colour options I wanted in my collection.
From left to right the colours are;
1.Ivory
2.Mink
3.Ochre
4.Golden brown
5.Ember
6.Nutty
The Ivory shade is a matte colour. Ideal for use all of the lid whilst the other 5 shades are all a shimmer colour these are perfect for creating a sharp cut crease or a smokey eye.
The palette also comes with a handy brush. The only thing I can say would be useful would be to add a mirror so you can use the palette on the move.
This palette was only £3.99 so it was definitely a steal and I can't argue with the price and quality of these colours.
The second palette I picked up has to be my favourite. It's the sleek palette. Another brand I've been seeing and hearing a lot more about and I can definitely see why! I picked up the Anew day 430 palette.
This palette has 12 shades. 7 shimmer shades and 5 matte shades. These shadows are super pigmented and glide onto your kids feeling so silky smooth. The colours range from nudes, golds, browns and muted nudes and mauves. It's the perfect palette to create multiple looks to match any outfit or event.
Top row left to right;
1.Sun is shining
2.Brightside
3.Daydreamer
4.Let it go
5.Don't worry
6.Be happy
Bottom row left to right;
7.Feelin' good
8.Silver lining
9.Shine on
10.Carpe diem
11.Believer
12.H.A.P.P.Y
This palette also comes with a brush and a mirror the full size of the palette making it easier for make up on the move or for touch ups throughout the day. This to me is the perfect palette to take on holiday as the shimmer shades are perfect to glisten in the sun and with the colour options means you'll only need to pack the one palette.
This palette was £7.99 from boots and can't wait to try some of their other palettes.

As you all know I can't resist make up. I've been hearing a lot about NYX recently so I was super excited to hear my local Boots have just opened a brand new NYX counter. Of course I had to pop along to see what all the full was about.
I picked up three new bits to ease me into the range and to see if I like the products. It's safe to say I do. I'm in love!

I wear micro bond weft extensions so hair care to me is very important. Hair extensions can damage your hair so it's really important to make sure your hair is strong and in good condition. With this being said it's also really important to look after the extensions to make sure you get the longest possible time out of them.
I have a pretty simple routine but it's one thats really effective. It's all about the products you use and it may have taken me a long to find the ones that work for me but when I say they work, they really do!

These hauls come round so fast but here we go again back with my monthly Primark Haul. These are definitely my favourite posts as it means I get to go on a massive shopping spree.
So after last month I know I featured a lot of essentials. This month I wanted to try and pick up a lot more fashion and season based pieces. The day I went shopping to pick all of these pieces up we were experiencing what I'm calling summer for us in the UK. The sun was shining it was very warm. I say was it has somehow disappeared and we are back the doom and gloom of the grey skies. I can't complain too much as it is still really warm.

I've recently been getting into a lot more of the American make up brands (you guys are so lucky! I'm genuinely looking at booking flights to America just so I can do a weekend of make up shopping)
I heard a lot of Youtubers talking about the House of Lashes, especially their Iconic lashes. I'd heard from a few people they were the only lashes they used and even the best glue (we've all tried so many glues that never work haven't we?)
I then stumbled upon them on Instagram and become hooked on their photos of all the beautiful lashes they had available.
I used to be a big lash addict wearing them every day and even as far as lash extensions which ruined my old lashes so about two years I ditched them and decided to go au natural. That was until I seen the Iconic lashes in all their glory for myself.
I ordered one of their sets of three as I thought with the shipping it makes more sense to buy a couple more pairs in case I liked them. These worked out at $30 instead of $36 so I then decided what a great opportunity to get hold of the glue as well. I got the white glue which dries clear and that was $8.
The shipping was so fast and arrived within 10 working days. I was fully prepared to wait for around 3 weeks with it coming from America so I was pleasantly surprised. When they arrived they were beautifully packaged in tissue paper with little ribbons in the box and it does make it feel like a little present from the lash angels.
The lashes them selves are on quite a thick band which for me is great as I find they hold their shape much better but I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea. Te Iconic lashes are renowned for being quite hard to get hold of and I can fully appreciate why. I've never tried this shape before but I love how they look on the eyes.
The glue is amazing! The best glue I've ever used in my life. Even in the heat of this mini heat wave we've just had in England. Hotter than Ibiza can I just add! They lasted all night through dancing away in a very hot nightclub. There was no little spider crawling down my face and didn't once feel worried they were hanging off. The glue also smells a little floral and not the usual suspect smell that most glues have which is also an added bonus.
Overall I'm so glad I took the plunge and ordered from House of Lashes. I'll definitely be trying out some more of their styles in the very near future!

I've decided it was about time I wrote a much more personal post as these are sometimes some of the posts I actually enjoy reading. I feel you get a much better insight into the blogger and hey we all love to be nosy don't we?
This year I'm turning 25. I'd always been a little worried turning 25 as I always thought I'd have my whole life planned by the time I reached 25 but as life happens nothing happens how you planned it.2015 was a very difficult year for me and so I decided I was going to make 2016 my year and make some changes I had needed to do for a while. I set goals, pushed my limits and so far I'm achieving way more than I set out to do!
My first goal was to be happy. This may seem like such a trivial thing but often the thing we all crave is genuine happiness. I wanted to surround myself with all of the people that genuinely made me smile on a regular basis. I cut myself away from people who craved drama and gave off negative energy. Once I had started to make changes like this I did start to feel how much positive energy from positive people can impact your life on such a big scale. I now wake up and smile to realise how lucky I am to have such amazing people around me. I wanted to be confident and to not care what anyone else thought and so this blog was born. I'd always wanted to launch one since studying a Fashion Retail Course in 2011, yes it's taken me this long but one day I woke up and said you know what I'm going to do it and here I am!
I also wanted to get fit. I joined the gym and never looked back. Now I'm definitely not an expert but I do try and do at least an hour of exercise a day (it's very difficult running a house and having two jobs as well as a blog to find any more time so small steps!) In this hour I put my headphones in and completely zone out. I mix cardio with kettle bell workouts as well as some light weight training. I find this also helps to keep my mood lifted. I do this as soon as I wake up so I'm filled with all the endorphins to keep me positive for the rest of the day.
I also wanted to look after myself more. I've always been such a giving person but I wanted to focus a lot more on myself for a while. I decided this year I wanted a complete overhaul. I started with my wardrobe. I got rid of everything that didn't fit or just didn't make me feel fabulous anymore. I'm a big believer in the clothes that you wear can empower or can diminish your mood within one minute. I'm slowly each month buying new bits that I can use as capsule pieces to enhance my style into a much more sophisticated look which I feel comfortable in. I also wanted to look after my skin as not many of you know but I've always suffered with quite bad akin. This has always been one of the parts of me which has impacted my life dramatically, from job interviews to meeting friends or dating. Breakouts can take over your life and I decided it was time to make a change to factors which I believe caused a lot of my breakouts. I decided to stop with the sugary drinks and drink a LOT more water. This instantly made such a difference my skin was dewy, plump and the breakouts were a lot better. I then started to take Boots Acne relief tablets. You take 2, 3 times a day which does sound a lot but again I was finding the results to be amazing. I was no longer getting breakouts which were cracking and bleeding and become sore they were just like every other pimple we all suffer from.
I changed my diet as I was fed up with feeling sluggish and not like myself. I decided it was time to take control and got rid of all of the processed foods (it felt good having such a big clear out) and bought lots of healthy new fresh and whole foods. I've never had so much motivation and so much energy and I definitely believe that it's because I'm now eating food that my body needs.
Turning 25 also meant I needed to up my skin care routine. I was still very much in the lazy teenage stage of using a make up wipe. Possibly the worst thing you can use on your skin! I started to use Garnier Micellar water and making sure I used a scrub at least 3 times a week. This also made my skin feel amazing I actually realised how clean my skin was feeling after taking my make up properly. I also didn't realise how dry my skin was for some reason I was always under the impression if you had breakout it's was because your skin was oily. So I've also started to use a lot more moisturisers which have helped to make my skin feel amazing. I've been loving the Nivea light day moisturiser recently it just melts into the skin leaving the skin feeling light and not clogged down with product. I've also been loving the Loreal Age Perfect Extraordinary Oil. Now I've never in my life used any oils on my skin (I know where have I been hiding all these years) and I can honestly say I love it. I use it every morning before my moisturiser and then again at night when my face is clear. I can't believe how plumped and hydrated my face feels after using it.
Turning 25 definitely isn't as scary as I thought. I've never felt more confident and more happy with who I am and who I am becoming. Sometimes a little selfishness can do us good!

So is there anyone else like me who lacks just basic staples in their wardrobes?
The past few months I've noticed I struggle to piece together simple plain casual outfits I can throw on without thinking too much about.
I have lots of clothes (too many in fact) yet nothing I actually want to wear (girl problems!) So I decided it's time to do something about it.

So of course eyebrows are a big deal now. They frame your face and finish off a killer make up look.
I can't leave the house without fierce looking brows (even a day make up free includes brows!)
This hasn't always been the case of course as I've always found it really difficult to find a product that I love using on my eyebrows. The pencils never seem dark enough, the powders look to powdery and gels too thick. I have naturally black hair and dark features so I often find it so difficult to find a product dark enough to match the colour of my eyebrows. I got shade ebony as I do have very dark brows but I was surprised how many shades they actually do have so it's definitely for every hair colour!
That was until I found Anastacia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade. When I say I say this has changed the way my eyebrows look...I genruinly mean that. How I surrvived without it I'll never know.
The Dipbrow Pomade is a gel which is why I avoided using it for a long while. Like everyone else I use blogs and YouTube to find out the best products (I trust you guys!) and so many people were raving about it. One day I decided to take the plunge and try it. I can honestly say why didn't I try it sooner?
The consistency is amazing it glides on your brows without being cakey or sliding around like other gel products. Yet the staying power puts even the best powder products to shame.
I've been applying the gel with an angled eyeliner brush (the only downfall it doesn't actually come with a brush but we'll give them a break on that)
Even though it's a gel it's so easy to create the ombre eyebrow look which has become such a statement.
A little goes a long way so although this is more expensive than most brow products out there I can see this little pot going a very long way!
I genruinly love this product and whenever I wear it, it doesn't even feel like it's there which I've never experienced with gel before.

So following on from my how I relax (see post here) I thought I'd write up a post on how I stay organised.
Now I must admit this is a hell of a test in itself. I balance two jobs at the same time as running my blog. Whilst I absolutely love my life and everyone has always known me to be a workaholic it can be stressful.

It's always been my number one life goals is to own a Chanel.
To me they are a classic staple in fashion that will never get old. They have become so iconic and beautiful that I believe they are the most perfect bags I could ever own.
I'd always loved the classic quilted chain bag but I wasn't fully sold on them. I guess they were a little bit more common and I was always looking for a classic but something a little different.
I then fell in love with the Le Boy and I knew it was the one. It was love at first sight and I never looked back.
Now I know this bag is pricey and lots of people will comment with that's just too much for a bag. But I do believe in spending extra money in order to have that better quality. I spend my money on designer bags and shoes (although Primark shoes have impressed me recently!) So I'm not afraid to wear high street with a designer bag I do think you have to mix things up sometimes.
The Le Boy is quite structured which to me was one of the selling points as I think it's much less likely to loose its shape over time.
You can wear across the body or as an over the shoulder bag. To me I prefer to wear it as a shoulder bag. I think it looks great with a big jumper and leather leggings (this is literally my staple wardrobe at the minute!)
It has lots of room inside to carry all of the essentials but just the right size to avoid over filling with everything but the kitchen sink.
You'll be seeing much more of this bag in future posts so apologies now but I'm just in love with it!

Sorry I haven't posted in a little while, I've been very poorly but not to worry I'm back with lots of content planned for you all.
This Easter weekend I decided that I didn't want to just sit in stuffing my face with chocolate I wanted to get out and enjoy the beautiful places in which the every day hustle and bustle keeps us away from.
I live very close to Chester and it's such a beautiful city and we have some amazing treasures in which we can explore one of which being the Duke of Westminister's estate. This is one place that I never ever imagined you could ever see. That is until I realised they open up the grounds of a bank holiday for charity. This to me was the perfect excuse to go and have a nosey and what better way to do it whilst also giving to charity.
I took all of my family and can honestly say we all had such a great day. We rode around the steam train and seen the deer that live within the estate. This was also the first time I'd ever seen deer wandering freely and it was such a beautiful experience.
